It is th best app ever (better than Pokemon go)

This latest version of the Apple Store app is a step backwards. It was so convenient to make, change or cancel a Genius Bar appointment. Not anymore. Not an update. This is yet another app I can delete as it serves no purpose.

I get thats you are rebranding a lot of names and services. However forcing us to the Web to inaccessible/not easily make an appointment is foolish. I then have to go use this app to adjust to edit the details, but its so buried in other junk. Didnt even create a proper appointment card for my calendar. Extremely disappointment.

It now directs you to a website, which is aggravating, as the website is a hot mess. Its nice that theres a troubleshooting menu, but, again, its a hot mess. Its difficult to navigate, and impossible to manage on different devices.

The moment I try to look at my account. It crashes. Every time.

Im an American living in Japan and I cant use the Japanese store without having to use the entire app in Japanese. Im sure the new experience is great, but I cant interact with it easily.

I love Apple for not forcing customers to have their apps and OS set to a language that is based on the location. On an iOS device you can set your language to french and live in the UK. Everything will be in french including all apps. Sadly this app doesnt do that and it picks the language based on the country that is picked in the options. This is terrible for someone wanting to use the app to buy from the Apple Store in a foreign country. Very un-apple-like.

Really frustrating that they decided it was a good idea to get rid of the ability for customers to make a Genius Bar appointment from within the app and check in themselves when they arrive at the store. It was a really slick solution and now you are forced to go on the website and navigate through an equally horrible UI to book your appointment weeks out. What happened to not only being able to make the appointments via app, but getting one that day or at least the same week. Not happy with the direction Apples online store is going and long for the way it used to be a couple years ago. :/

Please bring back the ability to book a Genius Bar appointment within the app. That was so convenient. Why did you ever take it away???

I had to log in to the Apple Store through safari. What a waste of time. Bring back the ability to my phone

Removed ability to reserve Genius Bar = Fail.

The app is easy to use. Clean presentation. Main limitation is that they dont list online anywhere near the accessories offered in the physical store.

This app is useless without the ability to make Genius Bar reservations. It is now infinitely more difficult to make a reservation. Extremely poor customer service.

This app is one of Apples worst designed and functioning apps. Second only to the new music app in iOS 10.

What happened to the app, it used to be so easy to make a genius appointment and for some reason this update has made it very difficult. I thought Apple was a company that took things and made them easier for their customers, but not this time.

The only reason I downloaded the Apple Store app was for the Genius Bar appointment. With IOS 10 on the iPhone 7 I could not find the Genius Bar so I called Apple support. The representative was clueless, Genius Bar showed on her old iPhone running an older version and was arguing with me that I need to delete the app and re-install it. Maybe she should update her phone to understand my frustration. I deleted the app. There is nothing worthwhile on it other than shopping and advertising Apple Products.

So sad. I used to love this app and used it for everything. Now most of the best features have been removed. Was intuitive and obvious navigation; simple back button; scroll through to find answers; easy shopping for gifts, etc. But now too many click throughs and still no solution; too narrow product list; too many clicks to view all or filter; hidden (need to swipe down) to get back to self-check out; making appointments removed, etc. Was easy to shop for gifts from my iPhone, now it is faster to go to desktop to shop for gifts (since not at my desk as often as at my iPhone, I wont be buying as many gifts.)

The most important function of this app, the ability to make an appointment at the genius bar, has been inexplicably removed. The app doesnt allow me to use Apple Pay or a US credit card, but ship to a different country.
