Hidden feature (buying stuff at an Apple Store)
Generally this app works just fine, but there is one thing about it that really puzzles me: the design of how to buy things in an Apple Store with the app! Even the employees in the store are likely not to know! You would think this feature would be easy to find and easy to use, but its not so. Access to the scanner is via a very thin black bar at the top of the screen. It is very easy to miss and if its your first time you are likely to miss it.
Once you discover how to access the product scanner, it may not work for you, depending on what you want to buy. If you want to buy something that doesnt have an Apple serial number, it will work. You can scan the product bar code and pay for the product and walk out with it without having to wait on someone to help you. But, if you want to buy something like an Apple Pencil, then you are going to have to wait for someone in the store to help you. Its totally ridiculous.
Apple used to know how to design easy to use apps, but they have forgotten.
