Change is never easy.
How some can say Apple doesnt care about its customer experience is laughable. Show me a company that serves its customers better (all included in the cost of your device and warranty). Frankly compared to ANY company out there, Im not sure one even comes close. Period. Now with regards to the genius appointment system. People get over it. Yes it is unfortunate it is not integrated in this app but seriously now how many times a year do you use it?
Apple, please continue to refine the app and the process, so all will be as it should. This is simply another first world problem. Spare me. Now off you go to write about useless headphone jacks. Smh.
